The rapid adoption of Electric Vehicles (EVs) is a significant step toward reducing carbon emissions and dependence on fossil fuels. However, the limited availability, uneven distribution, and high cost of public charging infrastructure remain major obstacles to widespread EV adoption, especially in semi-urban and residential regions. This paper presents EV ChargeShare, a community-driven electric vehicle charging platform that enables private charger owners to share their charging points with nearby EV users. The system provides map-based charger discovery, real-time availability monitoring, secure authentication, and a time-slot-based booking mechanism. A robust booking conflict resolution algorithm is implemented to ensure fair charger allocation during simultaneous booking attempts. The proposed platform improves charger utilization, reduces waiting times, minimizes range anxiety, and promotes sustainable electric mobility through decentralized infrastructure sharing.
